Ozmar’s Story
Having a second opportunity to hear his voice and to see him dancing to the music he hears from a distance is what I have wished for and more. This wouldn’t be possible without the help and dedication of an amazing school, Presbyterian Ear Institute. My family and I will always be thankful for all the hard work the staff has done to make this possible. Our journey with PEI started when my son lost his hearing at 22 months, 4 years ago. In the past 4 years of being a part of such an amazing school, my son has learned how to speak and hear. Being a parent of a child with a disability can be challenging navigating different systems, but with the help of PEI, the process has been much easier.
