Audiologist

Alex is a Doctor of Audiology at Presbyterian Ear Institute. She received her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the Eastern Illinois University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Indiana University. She has completed specialized training working with pediatrics (ages 0-18 years) and with individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. Before coming to PEI, Dr. Sisson completed her residency year at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN. Her primary areas of interests are pediatrics, cochlear implants, and Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing with a particular passion for cochlear implants.

In her free time, Alex and her husband love spending time outdoors and all their time with their son, Gabriel. Dr. Sisson and her husband are excited for hiking and opportunities to explore the culture of New Mexico. She also enjoys running, reading, and all things coffee or tea. She is excited to be joining the team at PEI and is eagerly looking forward to serving her community.
