Laura Van Domelen, Secretary/Treasurer

Laura is a native of Albuquerque, however she lived her working years primarily in the Denver area before returning to Albuquerque in retirement. She attended Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin attaining her bachelor’s in mathematics then moved to the Denver area where she worked for the next 38 years at a consulting and actuarial firm. Her practice area provided administration and compliance of defined contribution plans, where she led the practice as an equity partner at the time of her retirement.

Durning her career she volunteered for service opportunities including the Denver Athletic Club Board of Directors, Charles Schwab Advisory Board, Big Sisters, Rotary Club, Branch Rickey Silent Auction Fund Raisers, and Your Cause Sports Triathlon.

After retirement Laura is working on a variety of projects and wondering how she found the time to work.

Laura is widowed and has a stepdaughter who is graduating college in 2022.
