My family’s connection to PEI is deep. My personal connection is no less. There was a moment many years ago when Dr. Karl Horn said to my dad “I can help you”. Dr. Horn and PEI delivered in a big way. It seems appropriate that I humbly try to give some back. Being in a position to devote a bit of time, talent and treasure to PEI is nothing short of a blessing for me. I am a 30 plus years hearing aid wearer. I have a profound hearing loss and I understand the challenges and recognize the need for the adult population to be supported beyond the device of a hearing aid.
I often think of the aging population that will require a Cochlear implant. I am one of those “seasoned” individuals. I look forward to assisting in making that experience as positive for them as it was for my father.
