Ruth is an Oral Deaf Educator at Presbyterian Ear Institute. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education with a concentration in Early Oral Intervention from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ruth is currently the Parent Infant Program Coordinator and Family Engagement Coordinator at PEI, providing family-centered listening and spoken language services to parents and their young children with hearing loss. She is currently pursuing her certification in Listening and Spoken Language, Auditory Verbal Education through the AG Bell Academy. In her spare time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and traveling to Florida.
