Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships Golf Tournament

Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque is honored to host the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships Golf Tournament for the seventh year in a row. The tournament will be held on Friday, August 17 at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club. It’s one of dozens of tournaments held across the country by dealers, benefiting various charitable organizations and nonprofits.

This year, Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque continues its partnership with Presbyterian Ear Institute (PEI), a 501©3 nonprofit. PEI helps deaf and hard-of-hearing adults and children develop and strengthen auditory and oral communication skills using hearing aids as well the advanced technology of cochlear implants. Programs offered by PEI include the Newborn Hearing Education Program, Parent-Infant Program, Cochlear Implant Program, Speech and Language Program and School for Oral Deaf Education.

“It’s an honor for me and my team at Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque to host this tournament for such a worthwhile nonprofit,” says Tripp Steele, General Manager. “On my first visit to PEI’s Oral School, I was overwhelmed by what they were accomplishing with children who would not be able to hear and talk without these programs. As a father of three, I know how much it means to the parents of the children who receive services at PEI to be able to do everything possible to ensure that their children have normal lives.”
